Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Attendant to join the Night shift in the Float Pool. You will work at bedside alongside Nurses, ICU Technicians and other team members, monitoring vitals, assisting with meals, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients.

Candidates should be enrolled in a BSN program or have CNA/Attendant experience, possess a high school diploma, and maintain current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program with at least one clinical rotation or have CNA/Nursing Attendant experience or an approved CNA training program.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist with meals and safe patient transport.
• Provide compassionate patient-focused care under RN supervision.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment in a fast-paced setting.
