Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking Nursing Attendants to provide compassionate bedside care and act as a reliable point of contact for patients and families. You will assist with vitals, meals delivery, safe transport, and partner with nurses and ICU technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a BSN program or have prior CNA/attendant experience, hold a high school diploma or GED, and maintain an American Heart Association BLS

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSN program with at least one clinical rotation completed or have prior Certified Nursing Assistant / nursing attendant experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient-focused care and assist with monitoring vitals (blood pressure, temperature, etc.).
• Assist with meals delivery and safe patient transport.
• Collaborate with Nurses, ICU Technicians and other medical staff to keep fast-paced environments running smoothly.
