Prisma Health in Greenville is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role collects patient data, assists with basic nursing procedures, and supports ADLs and hygiene.

You will help with treatments, maintain equipment, and document in the EMR. Night shift assignments at Greenville Memorial Hospital include admission support, vital signs, specimen collection, and safe patient handling in a multispecialty telemetry unit.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Collect data related to patient status and assist with basic nursing procedures.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene, mobility, and toileting needs.
• Assist with admission, room setup, and orientation of patient and family.
• Take and record vital signs; monitor for questionable values.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding and supplements.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Complete documentation in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of patient areas and equipment.
• Perform point‑of‑care testing as trained and report lab values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
