Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collect data related to patient status and assist with basic nursing procedures.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene, mobility, and toileting needs.
• Assist with admission, room setup, and orientation of patient and family.
• Take and record vital signs; monitor for questionable values.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding and supplements.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Complete documentation in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of patient areas and equipment.
• Perform point‑of‑care testing as trained and report lab values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
