Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance during night shifts. The role includes measuring vital signs, documenting care, and supporting the RN/LPN with basic health services.

Shifts are two 12-hour night blocks per week with self-scheduling and a 24-hour workweek. Eligible staff receive a full benefits package and a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must acquire basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment.
• Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of RN or LPN.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documenting patient care.
• Prepare treatment areas, clean equipment and dispose of biomedical waste as required.
