Job summary

Temple University Health System’s TUH-Jeanes Campus is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 2C Med Surg unit on the night shift (7pm-7:30am). This position supports registered nurses and unlicensed staff to deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed nursing assistant training or be a current nursing student with clinical rotation, and BLS certification. CNA preferred; 1 year experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Basic Life Support is required; CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with patient care activities as delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Incorporate the hospital's customer service principles into patient care activities.
• Be accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
