Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (HUC) for Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. This role offers a night shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with every other weekend and holiday rotation, 32 hours per week, and a $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus.

Primary duties include patient care support and unit coordination in a compassionate, community-focused environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with MA Nursing Assistant Certification, CPR, and 3+ months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Massachusetts Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Computer skills including knowledge of the computer system and related secretarial experience preferred.
• Over three months of related work experience required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit patient-focused support activities and services.
• Assist with patient care and related duties as directed by the Manager, Patient Care.
• Plan and direct all unit support activities including equipment/supplies coordination.
