Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - West TN in Jackson, TN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am). Compensation is $20.00 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Duties include bathing, oral care, feeding and rounds, plus assisting with patient transport and keeping rooms and equipment clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years in a related field.
• Nursing assistant certification or hospital experience in a related role.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist transporters with patient movement.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfer to stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and organized and manage unit stock of supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
