Heritage at The Plains in Oneonta, NY is seeking a Nursing Aide to provide compassionate care in an independent living, assisted living and memory care setting. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, while supporting independence for residents.

The position offers full-time and part-time 8-hour night shifts (11pm-7am) with benefits including health, dental, 401k, PTO from day one, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication administration, treatments and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• Support planning and execution of resident activities on a regular schedule.

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:
