Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, GA. This full-time, 12-hour night shift (7p-7a) role oversees nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, and guides process improvements within hospital policies.

Required GA RN licensure and current BLS. Minimum 5 years nursing with at least 3 years supervisory experience preferred. BSN is required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment are expected. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum five years’ nursing experience.
• Minimum three years’ supervisor experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Continuously supervises staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Coordinates quality improvement monitoring and evaluates staff performance.
• Plans staffing patterns to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures environmental safety and proper disposal of needles and supplies.
• Assesses and maintains patient safety levels.
