Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Leader to supervise a nursing cohort within the VUH Medical ICU/Medical PCU. The CSL will lead clinical practice development, drive outcomes in people leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance, throughput and scheduling, and provide coaching to staff to sustain high performance.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in nursing leadership or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohort of nursing staff and participate in unit management.
• Define standards for quality patient care on the unit.
• Develop, manage and evaluate the nursing area based on team performance.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines and deliverables aligned to the strategic plan.
• Provide guidance, coaching and professional development to staff.
• Ensure clinical assignments match patient care needs and staff competencies.
