Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide patient care under RN supervision. The role involves personal care, basic clinical support, and ensuring patient comfort in a busy hospital setting in Novi, MI.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, CNA preferred, and relevant experience or enrollment in a nursing program. The position requires strong communication and the ability to respond to emergencies per hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA preferred; completion of Nurse Assistant program recommended.
• May be enrolled in nursing program or be foreign-trained RN without Michigan license.
• Medical Assistant program may apply; 1 year NA/PCT/PAT experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains effective, professional communication with patients, families and healthcare team.
• Identifies concerns related to patients, staff, and self, and communicates with the RN.
• Assists the RN in admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
• Provides personal care: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, transportation.
• Answers patient questions and explains procedures during care.
• Maintains a clean, safe, therapeutic environment per HFHS standards.
• Responds to emergencies and alarms and communicates to appropriate persons.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Performs general clerical duties as assigned.
• Makes supply deliveries to patient rooms and ancillary departments.
