Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• Currently licensed as a RN by the State of Texas and BLS certified
• Experience in NICU settings is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to neonatal patients according to the nursing process and patient age/needs.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Provides patient education and maintains accurate medical records in accordance with policy and standards.
• Manages patient discharge planning and transfer coordination with the care team.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and unit-specific policies; mentors less experienced staff when needed.
• Demonstrates compassionate, personalized care while aligning with Memorial Hermann service standards.
