Job summary

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will assess, plan, implement and document patient care while supporting a charge nurse and growing toward NICU leadership responsibilities.

Minimum qualifications include Hawai‘i RN license, BLS and NRP CPR cards, and at least 1 year of recent NICU acute care experience. Night 12-hour shifts, full-time regular, 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in the NICU.
• Function as an associate to a charge nurse.
• Eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.
