Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our NICU team in Chattanooga, TN for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate has NICU experience in level III/IV NICUs and is committed to high‑quality neonatal care.

Responsibilities include 1:1 to 1:4 patient ratios, PIV, feeding tubes, lab draws, catheterization, airway and respiratory support with the care team, and collaboration during intubation and central line placements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of NICU nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are mandatory.
• Ability to float to mother-baby unit as a tech, if desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:4, depending on acuity.
• Perform various procedures including PIV insertion, feeding tube insertion, lab draws, and straight catheterization.
• Assist in airway and respiratory management in conjunction with respiratory care team.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers during intubation, surfactant administration, and central line placements.
• Document patient care accurately using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech systems.
