Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the NICU night shift (6:45 p.m. – 6:45 a.m.) to plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

You will work with multidisciplinary staff to monitor progress using the nursing process, support families, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and help achieve optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• LIC-Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress and apply interventions.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
