Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, seeks a registered nurse for the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

We offer a premium night shift sign-on bonus ($10,000 for graduate nurses, $13,000 for experienced nurses) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state/compact.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers and coordinates with other departments.
