Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift with rotating weekends. You will work in a premier Level IV NICU and alongside specialists to deliver life-saving neonatal respiratory care within Memorial Health’s regional perinatal program.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with HFOV, iNO, advanced neonatal ventilation, and complex airway management while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS must be current or obtained within 30 days of start.
• Current state RT license/registration (RRT/RCP) required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status through focused exams and breath sounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway: invasive/noninvasive modes, adjust settings.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, assist in deliveries when needed.
• Maintain equipment and safety, perform cleaning, preventive maintenance, and infection control.
