Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, seeks experienced Respiratory Therapists to join our Level IV NICU and Children's Hospital. You will provide life‑saving respiratory care to critically ill newborns and children, using advanced neonatal ventilation strategies in a 24‑county referral area.

You will work nights with rotating weekends, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and engaging in ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 30 days of start date.
• NBRC-RRT certification within 6 months of start date.
• RRT/RCP-State license.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions across care settings.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, medications, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, assist with stabilizing newborns during deliveries.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment, ensure readiness and safety, transport ventilated patients as needed.
