Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Level 3 NICU in Newport News, VA. You will provide direct patient care alongside a team of 3 neonatologists and NNPs in a 22-bed unit.

Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, with evening back-up neonatologist coverage from home, and flexible night shifts with weekend availability. Active Virginia license and national APRN certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Active Virginia state license required.
• APRNs must have current national specialty certification.
• Clinically active within the past year.
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries as part of care responsibilities.
• Direct patient care with evening back-up neonatologist coverage from home.
• Shift work with night coverage and weekend options.
• Join a team of neonatologists and NNPs in a 22-bed Level 3 NICU.
