Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspections on aerospace components. This role ensures compliance with quality standards, engineering specs, and customer requirements across the aviation aftermarket.

Based on the overnight shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a differential, you will operate NDT equipment, document results, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current or previous NDT Level II certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience performing non-destructive inspections and interpreting results.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass applicable vision testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing and inspections per procedures and customer specs.
• Analyze, interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results accurately.
• Set up, operate, and verify NDT equipment for inspections.
• Review engineering requirements, inspection criteria, and customer docs.
• Record findings and maintain test records in manual and electronic systems.
• Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and comparators for measurements.
• Maintain complete, accurate work-in-process documentation.
• Support quality system compliance and repair-station procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area using 5S and continuous improvement.
