Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an NDT Technician - X-Ray to perform radiographic processing of aerospace investment castings in support of nondestructive testing operations. You will ensure proper documentation, traceability, and NAS 410 compliance while producing quality radiographs. The role supports aviation safety and reliability, with a 5th Friday to Sunday 6:00 p.m.

to 6:00 a.m. shift and training during first weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• English communication in reading, writing, and speaking.
• NAS 410 Level I RT Inspector certification or qualification.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and safety rules.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety.
• Experience with radiographic testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray processing of investment castings per approved techniques and work instructions.
• Process parts according to production priorities and supervisor direction.
• Review routers, travelers, and supporting documentation to ensure all previous operations are complete.
• Verify paperwork matches the product and maintain full traceability.
• Support radiographic inspection by producing quality radiographs for evaluation.
• Complete required production, quality, and inspection documentation.
• Move completed work to the next routed operation.
• Follow all radiation safety, quality, and process control requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
