Responsibilities include logging, reporting, and supporting emergency responses, with certifications such as BLS, NCSO, and a valid Texas Driver's License required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• NCSO certification by the Texas DPS - Private Security Board, within 90 days.
• Texas Driver's License within 90 days of entering role.
• Must pass a clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• At least 1 year of Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides security functions at designated posts during varying hours and shifts.
• Observes and logs visitors and entry logs at the hospital.
• Maintains required sign-in logs and documents per procedures.
• Monitors area for potential threats to patients, visitors, staff, and providers.
• Completes DAR, Incident, and hospital reports as required.
• Responds to emergencies per proper procedures and assists hospital personnel.
