Job summary

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking an Operator Assistant for its Metallizing facility in Villa Rica, Georgia. You will assist the Operator, operate equipment as needed, and cross-train to run other lines to meet production goals.

The role requires safety-first conduct, ability to lift 60 pounds, basic data entry, tape measure reading, and teamwork. Forklift certification is preferred but training is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Forklift certification preferred but will train.
• Ability to lift objects weighing at least 60 pounds.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform data entry.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist and take instructions from the Operator to meet production goals.
• Cross-train into other functions and run equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area meeting ISO requirements.
• Learn the computer system for data entry and track waste per roll.
