Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Multiple Modality) to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy in the Department of Radiology/Imaging Services. The role includes processing images, maintaining records, and ensuring radiation safety in accordance with ALARA principles.

The candidate will work CT and X-ray, with a night shift and night differential pay. Requires California licensure and ARRT certifications with relevant modality credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification and California licensure required or pending.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with contrast administration.
• Rotate assignments to meet department needs.
• Process images using CR/DR/Film and PACS.
• Maintain examination/dose/contrast records with two patient identifiers.
• Move patients and assist in patient transport.
• Optimize technical factors for radiographic procedures.
• May train students and assist in unfamiliar procedures.
