Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dedicated shift supervisor for a 12-hour night shift to oversee all employees on their assigned shift and ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

You will interview, hire, train and evaluate staff, assign work, and enforce policies while supporting development needs and performance feedback. Amcor offers a comprehensive benefits package and a goal-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience desired.
• Night shift position on a 12-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises all employees on their assigned shift.
• Interviews, hires and trains employees; plans, assigns, directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees, up to termination.
• Ensures training and development; coordinates with HR to address gaps; ensures required training is completed.
• Assesses readiness for promotion; identifies suitable candidates for vacancies.
• Motivates and coaches employees with frequent performance feedback.
• Ensures safety and addresses hazards; oversees shift training; sets and meets shift goals.
• Learn the Group Leader role and perform it efficiently.
