Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Injection Mold Tooling Maintenance Technician in Rochester Hills, MI for a night shift. The role requires hands-on mold repair, precise measurement, and collaboration with Process Engineers to minimize downtime on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a tool room, knowledge of Mold Master or similar systems, and experience with surface grinding, EDM, and precision lathes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in a tool room with plastic injection mold repair or maintenance.
• 3+ years using hand-operated tool room equipment.
• Ability to read and follow tooling work orders; strong verbal/written communication.
• Prototype tool making experience is helpful; plastic injection processing experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble/assemble injection molds safely and efficiently.
• Clean molds; polish, bench, fit new details, and spot in.
• Operate surface grinder, Bridgeport/lathe, and EDM.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore micrometers).
• Record maintenance in the company system and follow schedule commitments.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians and work with minimal supervision.
