Job summary

Cynet Health in Michigan is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week assignment with a night shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) to collect, process, and analyze patient specimens in our clinical laboratory.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MLT, ASCP certification, and hands-on experience with Sunquest, Epic, and Sysmex hematology instrumentation. Strong attention to quality control and safety is required.

Qualifications

2+ years of MLT experience.
Active ASCP certification is required.
Experience with Sunquest and Epic systems is required.
Experience with Ortho Blood Bank and Chemistry.
Experience with Siemens coagulation and urine testing.
Experience with Sysmex hematology instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Perform collection, processing and analysis of specimens in the laboratory.
Prepare reagents and manage specimen collection.
Serve as backup to the phlebotomy team and perform venipuncture when needed.
Maintain instruments and troubleshoot as required.
Ensure accurate data entry into the Laboratory Information System and follow safety procedures.
