Job summary

Quest Diagnostics, working at Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma in Yukon, OK, invites applications for a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine testing across blood bank, chemistry, hematology, molecular, urinalysis and serology.

The ideal candidate has an AS degree in Medical Lab Technology (or BS in Medical Technology) and ASCP MT/MLT certification or eligibility, plus strong problem solving, teamwork and computer skills; this full-time night shift position offers a $5,000 sign-on

Qualifications

Good understanding of laboratory procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Clear and effective communication.
Able to manage time, prioritize, and delegate.
Knowledge of Epic and Laboratory Information Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs routine testing in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, molecular, urinalysis, and serology.
Process specimens.
Follow employer and hospital policies.
Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
Additional duties will include assisting supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
