Job summary

Qualifications

• AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or eligible for national MT/MLT certification.
• Ability to maintain a professional, courteous attitude under heavy workload.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with lab computer systems; Epic/Media Lab a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, molecular, urinalysis, and serology.
• Process specimens.
• Follow employer and hospital policies.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
• Assist supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
