York Building Products is seeking an experienced Night Shift Millwright to help keep our plants operating safely and efficiently. If you're a self-motivated mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, fabrication, and repairing heavy industrial equipment, we'd love to have you on our team.

Qualifications

Experience as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fabrication skills.
Welding and fabrication experience.
Experience with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps and rotating equipment.
Ability to read measuring tools and perform precision repairs.
Valid driver's license and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.
Weld, fabricate, and repair piping, conveyors, and structural components.
Install and replace bearings, gearboxes, motors, belts, rollers, and other mechanical components.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled equipment inspections.
Identify potential mechanical issues before downtime.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, torches, manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and production personnel.
