Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent, with preference toward post-secondary technical schooling.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, ride a manlift, frequently utilize 8 flights of stairs and be on their feet for extended periods during 12 hour shifts.
• Must be able and willing to work multiple, rotating shifts.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions in a manufacturing plant.
• Additional educational opportunities and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Blending, cleaning and tempering of wheat; maintain flour yield and quality per specs.
• Inspect samples and route grades to proper storage; monitor safety per GMP/HACCP.
• Document pH checks and chlorine applications; inspect equipment and housekeeping.
