Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking Night shift MIG Welders for a steel manufacturing client in Ringgold, GA. You will operate welding equipment, read blueprints and ensure products meet specs.

This full-time, temporary-to-hire role runs 6:00pm–4:30am, Monday–Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed. The position requires MIG welding experience; ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch; and basic reading and math skills.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• MIG welding experience required.
• TIG experience a plus.
• Basic reading and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welding line production.
• Prepare materials and perform welds to provided specs.
• Read blueprints for measurement specifications and builds.
• Grinding of welds as needed.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specified standards and dimensions.
