Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff in providing compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients. This full-time night-shift role offers opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized hospital system.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, and help document patient care. CNA/EMT preferred; BCLS required; prior mental health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA or EMT license preferred.
• Mental health experience in the last 6 months preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required on hire.
• One year prior mental health experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff in patient care and activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and co-workers.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the supervising RN and document care.
