Job summary

Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville is looking to add a Mental Health Technician to the Behavioral Health Unit. The role is Full Time Nights, 7:00pm–7:00am, at Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville.

You will provide care under RN direction, document observations, and assist with patient education and milieu supervision. CPI certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire; BLS and Driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate of Science preferred; CPI certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA; Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI); Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a manner that considers safety and therapeutic environment under RN supervision.
• Document observations and communicate patient condition to the care team.
• Assist with patient education groups and total milieu supervision.
• Located at Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville.
