Job summary

High Plains Mental Health Center in Kansas is seeking a Mental Health RN for the Crisis Intervention Center. The role involves assessments, medication administration, and coordinating care in a behavioral health setting with night shifts.

You will work 7pm-7am, three days per week, with weekend rotation; a $4,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered to support your professional growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Prefer at least 1 year in psychiatric or crisis intervention settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition; communicate changes.
• Administer medications and provide education.
• Use crisis intervention and de-escalation to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
