Responsibilities also cover initiating changes in care when symptoms arise, changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed. Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Responsibilities

• MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care.
• MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
