Job summary

CoxHealth South is seeking a Medication History Technician for the Inpatient Pharmacy South in Springfield, MO. You will work the night shift (7pm–7am), 7on/7off, 40 hours per week, to obtain and verify patients' home medication lists for ED admissions.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience, and MO State Board of Pharmacy registration (or obtained within 90 days); certified tech within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate degree in a related field.
• 1-2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently obtain, review, and verify patients' home medication lists for ED admissions.
• Document and communicate changes to the patient, family, and care team as needed.
