Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform comprehensive lab testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology and microbiology. Night shift, full-time schedule.

You will have education reimbursement on day one, competitive benefits, and a supportive team. A Bachelor's degree is required and certification within 1 year is preferred; 2 years of clinical experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (MT only).
• Certification by a nationally recognized registry within 1 year of employment is preferred.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology and microbiology testing.
• Receives and processes specimens; records test results.
• Analyzes results and assesses clinical significance.
• Analyzes test quality per established performance standards.
• Provides test results to approved callers and alerts abnormal results.
