Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Technologist for full-time night shifts at Magnolia Hospital. You will perform and report routine hematology, coagulation, and related laboratory analyses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to QC protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida state license in required specialties and have 3+ years of MT experience, with knowledge across hematology, coagulation, blood banking, microbiology, and chemistry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required.
• Florida state license in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Serology, Immunohematology and Microbiology required.
• Three (3) years of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, accession, and processes blood and other human specimens for clinical analysis.
• Performs and reports results of routine manual and automated tests in hematology and coagulation.
• Follows policies and procedures for quality control and data acceptability.
