Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical unit on the night shift. The nurse will care for 5-6 patients, perform routine nursing duties, and collaborate with PT and care management for safe discharge planning.

This non-telemetry unit requires strong attention to detail, ability to handle IVs and labs, and flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts. Opportunities for extension or permanency may arise based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• RN license in state or compact licensure.
• BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Must-have: Basic EKG exam score 80%+ (2 attempts allowed).

Responsibilities

• Care for 5-6 patients during the night shift.
• Collaborate with physical therapy and care management for discharge planning.
• Perform daily patient care activities; IVs and labs as needed.
• Weekend and holiday work is mandatory.
• Unit is non-telemetry; travel nurses may be floated when necessary.
