Live Well Homecare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and report a variety of specimen analyses, ensuring high-quality patient care in a clinical laboratory setting.

The role is a union, night-shift position starting at 10 PM with every other weekend and three holidays annually, offering comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and family support services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a laboratory science.
• Certification or eligible new graduate as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Military experience in related medical specialties is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate results by following established procedures.
• Manage multiple work processes efficiently and complete tasks timely.
• Handle specimens properly, confirm identification, and use accessioning procedures.
• Recognize discrepancies, troubleshoot instruments, perform quality control, and maintain supplies.
• Follow reporting protocols, record issues, and navigate computer applications.
• Train new employees and participate in educational activities.
