Qualifications

• Associates degree in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology and CLIA general testing qualifications.
• Eligible to take ASCP, AMT or equivalent certification exam within one year of hire.
• 1 year medical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA waived and non-waived testing according to procedures.
• Perform, verify, and report laboratory results per guidelines.
• Identify issues affecting assay performance and take corrective action.
• Perform analyzer maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures.
• Troubleshoot and document corrective actions.
• Assist with reagent and supplies inventory as needed.
• Assist in training students and new employees.
