Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform full laboratory testing across pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases. You will follow SOPs, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory adherence, and may travel to other locations as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences and MLS certification (or registry eligibility). A ND license may apply if working there; continuing education is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences required.
• National certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through an approved agency (ASCP or registry eligible).
• Regulatory/licensing requirements may apply in ND; ensure ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing.
• Follow SOPs and ensure laboratory safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collect specimens as needed and operate relevant equipment.
