Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to join our laboratory team on a full-time night shift (8p-6a) with rotating weekends and holidays.

The role involves specimen collection and processing, performing tests, and reporting results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician by AMT or ASCP.
• Qualified to be General Supervisor or testing personnel per CLIA'88.
• Complies with the hospital Corporate Compliance Plan.
• Annual PPD and annual Fire/Safety Training.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
• Clinical experience as part of educational programs.
• One to three years of hospital clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

• Performs specimen collection and processing, test performance, and result reporting for diagnosis and treatment.
• Performs inventory management, supply ordering, proficiency, quality control, competency, procedure development, and performance improvement activities.
