Indiana University Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for the White Memorial Hospital in Monticello, IN. The role supports laboratory testing on patient specimens, maintains quality records, and follows SOPs on a 9:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule across four 10-hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

Requires an appropriate degree or certification pathway and proficiency with lab equipment, quality control, and computers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science (Certification not required).
• Associate degree in an approved MLT program or a necessary certification within 12 months of employment.
• Must have knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory testing on patient specimens.
• Maintain records of performance and generate acceptable test results.
• Follow standard operating procedures and assist with development/modification of procedures.
