Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs all clinical testing in the assigned department.
• Records and reports test results accurately and promptly.
• Performs and interprets quality control testing per guidelines.
• Maintains a high level of quality assurance.
• Practices established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions.
• Identify and correct problems following prescribed strategies.
• Coordinate evaluation of new reagents, procedures, and equipment.
• Performs routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment.
