Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for the full-time Night shift at the South Overland Park Campus. You will process specimens, perform tests across Blood Bank, Microbiology, Chemistry, and more, and report results under supervision.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, good communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with on-call potential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
• 1+ years clinical lab experience preferred.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and analytical procedures accurately following hospital procedures.
• Report results and support education for clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain records, quality control, and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in training new staff and support department operations.
• Handle clerical duties and maintain a neat, organized workspace.
