Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Stephenville, TX is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a 12-hour night shift. New grads are welcome and rotation on weekends and holidays is required.

You will contribute to specimen integrity and laboratory operations, uphold professional accountability, perform test procedures, and maintain quality control and documentation while ensuring safety. Mentorship and growth opportunities are emphasized in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred.
• Internship in an approved Medical Technician training program required.
• 2 years’ experience in a Medical Laboratory preferred.
• MLS (ASCP) Medical Lab Scientist required within 6 months after hire
• MT (ASCP) Medical Technologist required within 6 months after hire
• Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology required within 6 months after hire Or
• M(ASCP) - Microbiology if working in Microbiology required within 6 months after hire
