Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician PRN in Stephenville, TX. The role focuses on specimen integrity, lab operations, and quality control within a collaborative team.

The position requires an associate degree in a lab science or completion within 3 months of hire, plus internship and potential ASCP certification. Two years of lab experience are preferred, with the registry to be achieved within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or related field preferred; must be attained within 3 months of hire
• Equivalent education to an associate degree in a laboratory science with at least 60 hours including MLS-related courses
• At least 24 semester hours of MLS courses or 24 hours of science with chemistry/biology components
• Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program required
• Two years' experience in a Medical Laboratory preferred
• MLT(ASCP) certification or equivalent, registry must be attained within 3 months of hire date; 90 days preferred
