MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Knightdale, NC. The role involves long-distance driving throughout North Carolina, primarily Friday through Saturday nights, with a shift differential after 10 PM on weekdays and all weekend hours.

You will operate a company vehicle, handle labs and records, and maintain safety and professionalism on every trip. The position offers weekend work, a part-time schedule, and benefits typical of a healthcare logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and mandates.

Responsibilities

• Spend most time in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related items.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload items and demonstrate safe driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver on route plans.
